This Mondays Premier League player profile feature focuses on Hull City striker Craig Fagan, incidentally this is our 2nd batch of Player Profiles, and we are only four players away from completing the current batchCraig Fagan is currently plying his trade for Premier League side Hull City; Fagan though started his career at Birmingham City, while at Birmingham the 27 year old was loaned out to a number of clubs. In the year 2004 he signed for Colchester where he was able to ama s a decent total of 12 goals in 32 games. Fagan then decided to join Hull City in what has proved to be his first spell at the club, the Birmingham born striker spent two years at the KC Stadium before transferring to Derby County in the year 2007, he failed to make an impact at the Championship club therefore he decided to move back to Hull City last season.Craig Fagan is very establishedat Premier League level, and this season for Hull City he has been given a considerably chance to perform regularly. The former Derby man has featured 20 times Aaron Schunk Jersey in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals in this campaign so far. Most notably one of his Premier League goals this season was scored against Manchester United from the penalty spot, the other was netted only two weeks ago against Fulham. Fagan needs to start banging in the goals for Hull, because they are on the brink of relegation and for Fagan and his teammates in the next couple of week goals will be so vital on Hulls behalf.Fagan is a player who gives Hull City manager Iain Dowie plenty of options, he has been known to play out wide for a number of his former clubs, but most recently he has been used as a striker either partnering Caleb Folan up front or the American starlet of Jozy Altidore.The 27 year old has blistering pace and he likes to work through gaps of the opposition defences, however even though he is admired for his quickne s, his temperament needs to be worked on. This season Fagan has been involved in many scuffles, due to this Fagan has one red card to his name in the 09/10 campaign,which came against fellow strugglers West Ham only two months ago.Overall though Fagan is well established to the Premier League, however he needs to find that net consistently over the next month or two.Wednesday Premiership Player Profile Fernando Torres(5stars) Jake Cave Jersey |
